Full Cycle Records was born in 1994 (previously known as Roni and Krust’s Full Circle Records) and quickly became one of the most important Drum & Bass labels of the early ‘90’s.
The Bristol-based label issued (now classic) releases from the likes of Size, Krust, Die, Suv, D Product, Flynn & Flora, and beyond.
2016 shaped up to be a vintage year for Roni and Krust, their initial release on the revitalized Full Cycle, the ‘Formulate EP’, drew acclaim from The Wire, Dummy, UKF, 6 Music (Gilles Peterson premiered the EP title track), Radio 1, 1Xtra, and beyond. The label’s return in February coincided with a spring tour including packed out shows across the UK. After launching an epic Bristol event on air, the performance at the BBC 6 Music Festival was one of the highlights, and they gained heavy support on the station from Mary Anne Hobbs, Lauren Laverne, and Gideon Coe. Elsewhere on radio, between them they recorded standout mixes for Rinse FM, SWU FM, Rough Tempo, and for MistaJam’s #SixtyMinuteMix.
